Head of Family Services
As Head of Family Services, I lead our work to ensure that families of children, young people and adults with additional needs feel supported, informed and empowered. My role focuses on developing services shaped and informed by the real experiences of the families we work alongside, and ensuring access to the support they need to thrive.
With almost 18 years of experience across the charity and education sectors, my career to date has involved supporting children, young people and adults with additional and complex needs and working closely with parents, carers and professionals. My background spans frontline support, partnership working and strategic service development.
I am looking forward to supporting Dravet Syndrome UK to continue building strong communities among families who are facing similar experiences, helping to create supportive networks where people can share, learn and walk alongside one another. I believe every family deserves to feel heard, valued and supported. I am excited to be part of the team and to meet and work alongside our families, building trusted relationships and ensuring our services continue to grow in ways that truly make a difference.
