Come and be part of Scotland’s BIGGEST running festival!
This ever-growing festival of running is now a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar. Starting in Edinburgh, the course heads out through East Lothian offering stunning views and an unforgettable running experience.
The marathon route is one of the fastest in the UK making that elusive personal best a distinct possibility! Edinburgh Marathon joined the world’s elite road races in 2012 by becoming the first marathon in Scotland to be officially recognised by the IAAF, the athletics governing body. The IAAF bronze label puts the race among the top 75 in the world making it a pivotal part of the sporting calendar for runners.

How to book your place with Team Dravet
To confirm your place with Team Dravet at the Edinburgh Marathon 2026, you will need to purchase a ticket using the Run For Charity website. A standard entry ticket to this event costs £255.
You can choose to either;
1) Register with a fundraising place
Register below via the Run For Charity website and pay £50 to cover a contribution towards your entry fee. Dravet Syndrome UK will fund the rest of the entry fee for you.
By registering using this option you are agreeing to fundraise at least £500 for Dravet Syndrome UK and we’ll require you to have set up your JustGiving page and begin your fundraising before the entry deadline of 12th January 2026.
2) Register with a self funding place
Self-fund your registration and pay £255 to cover the full cost of your entry fee. You won’t have a minimum fundraising target to aim for, but we’ll be pleased to receive any donations you raise.
