London Marathon 2027

From the start line in Greenwich Park to the iconic finish on The Mall, you’ll be part of one of the most unforgettable marathons in the world.

The details

The London Marathon is the world’s biggest annual one-day fundraising event. Over 50,000 runners will tackle the closed road course, starting in Greenwich and finishing on The Mall, taking in iconic sights such as the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

There will be plenty of noise to accompany the 26.2 miles from the thousands cheering from the side-lines, and by taking on this epic challenge for Dravet Syndrome UK, you’ll cross the finish line knowing you’ve made a huge difference to families navigating the daily challenges of this complex condition.

Whether you gain your own place on the 2027 TCS London Marathon start line through the public ballot, or you’re successful in your application for one of our four charity places, we’ll be there to support you, every step of the way.

Public Ballot – ‘Own place’

The TCS London Marathon public ballot is now closed and results have been announced. If you’ve been successful in the public ballot, you can run and fundraise for Dravet Syndrome UK, to raise as much as possible with no set fundraising target. Please just let us know you’ve got a public ballot place by emailing [email protected].

Dravet Syndrome UK – ‘Charity place’

We’re delighted to have four charity places available for the London Marathon 2027.

Due to the popularity of the event, we operate an application system for our charity places. Applications are now closed and we will notify everyone on the outcome of their application, by latest Friday 24th July 2026.

If successful in gaining one of our charity places, you will be required to pay a registration fee of £120 and raise a minimum of £2,500.
