Join the 1 in 15K campaign and help us to raise £15,000 to support all those living with Dravet Syndrome in the UK

1 in 15,000 in the UK are born with Dravet Syndrome.

Can you help us to be there for everyone living with, and all families impacted by this rare and life-changing condition? If so, we’d love for you to be a part of our NEW 1 in 15K campaign.

Between now and Christmas, take on your own 15-themed fundraiser! You could:

  • swim 15,000m
  • ask 15 people to each donate £15
  • bake and sell 15 cakes
  • run a mile a day for 15 days
  • do 15 star jumps, 15 times a day, for 15 days
  • hold a 15 hour dance-a-thon
  • hold a 15 hour sponsored silence
  • host a 15 question quiz night
  • walk 15,000 steps a day for 15 days
  • ask 15 local businesses to donate raffle prizes and sell tickets
  • cycle 15km a day for 15 days
  • sell 15 pre-loved items on Vinted or eBay and donate the proceeds
  • be creative and come up with your own idea!

There’s no set challenge and no right or wrong way to join in, just make sure to let us know what you’re planning on doing, how much you pledge to raise and whether you’ll be getting involved in October, November or December, through our pledge form here.

We’re aiming to raise £15,000, to make a huge difference to the lives of families affected by Dravet Syndrome, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Fundraising support

When you’ve made your pledge, it’s time to start maximising your fundraising!

We’ve got lots of practical tips and plenty of downloadable resources in our helpful materials section to help accelerate your fundraising efforts including:

  • Logos, frames and some text ideas to help fire up your social media
  • A Sponsorship and Gift Aid form to keep track of your sponsors and fundraising total, as well as claim an extra 25% on your donation from HMRC, at no extra cost to you
  • Some printable bunting for you to use at your events
