The details
In 2026, for the first time, Dravet Syndrome UK is delighted to have four charity places for the iconic TCS London Marathon.
These places are now sold out and we’re supporting our incredible runners every step of the way, through their training and fundraising, and of course, through the iconic 26.2-mile course set around the River Thames.
Over 40,000 runners will tackle the closed road course starting in Greenwich and finishing on The Mall, taking in iconic sights such as the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace along the way.
Want to take part in 2027?
Anyone who wants to apply for a Dravet Syndrome UK charity place is asked to also enter the 2027 TCS London Marathon public ballot (which is likely to open on this year’s event weekend), and if successful, run and fundraise for Dravet Syndrome UK, to raise as much as possible, with no set fundraising target. This allows us to allocate one of our charity places to another runner and boost our fundraising potential!
Registrations for applications for our charity spaces will open in late April, early May. Watch this space!
