John Lloyd

Trustee

I joined the Board of Trustees for DSUK in January 2019, after several years of supporting the charity (in sometimes bizarre ways). As a Trustee, supporting the team in their work, which makes such a massive difference to families living with Dravet Syndrome, is a huge privilege as well as a source of delight.

I started my career making television documentaries for the BBC among others, then helped to grow a healthcare startup for a decade, learning a lot about the way health and social care work in the UK, before helping a number of small charities to develop their strategy and approaches to governance.

I now work for a data privacy consultancy which champions these important human rights and promotes better behaviour in large and small organisations, to protect people from unwarranted, inappropriate and unlawful use of information about them.
