Dr Julia Aram

Dr Julia Aram is a Consultant Neurologist and Epilepsy Lead at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr Aram trained initially as a pharmacist. She then completed a PhD in in-vitro electrophysiological studies / neuropharmacology of epilepsy, before taking on a 18-month post doctorate position at Columbia University in New York City.

On her return to the UK, Dr Aram studied medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in London as a mature student. She specialised in Neurology and became a Consultant Neurologist and Epilepsy Lead at Brighton & Sussex University Hospital in 2008.
