How to get involved
Complete the short online application form. It only takes around 10 minutes, and then sit back and wait to hear from the OTW applications team. Your place is not reserved until you have received confirmation from OTW.
Before Camp in the Cloud, you’ll receive a special delivery to your home, filled with exciting and useful materials to help you join in all the activities. Inside, you’ll also find a simple schedule for the day, so you know exactly what’s happening and when.
OTW will email your Zoom link the day before CitC, so you’re all set to join the fun with just one click.
When you join the call, the OTW and DSUK teams will be waiting with big smiles and lots of excitement to welcome you. You’ll be part of the Dravet Syndrome UK community, all enjoying the day together!
FAQs
To join, your immediate household simply needs to include at least one child aged 6-17 years old. This doesn’t have to be your child living with Dravet Syndrome, but could be their sibling.
To account for chronological and cognitive age difference, if you care for an adult living with Dravet Syndrome who does not have a sibling in the allocated age bracket, and you’re interested in attending, please apply and OTW will be in touch to discuss your application.
Not much at all! Just a device with internet access (computer, mobile phone or tablet), the family resource pack we’ll send to you, and a spot in your home to join the fun. OTW will bring the mischief and magic – you bring yourselves and be ready to get creative!
That’s ok! You’re welcome to join with your camera off and ease into the experience at your own pace. Whether you’re camera-confident or camera-cautious, your family is in for a seriously fun day!
All sessions are run by trained OTW Camp staff and volunteers. DSUK staff will be with you throughout the day too.
Camp in the Cloud is a whole family experience. Everyone is encouraged to join in, get creative and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
