Center Parcs 2024
Welcome to our Annual Family Weekend Away 2024 hub, for all families joining us from 14th - 17th June 2024 at Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest!
Itinerary
You can download the full itinerary of Dravet Syndrome UK activities here. You will also be provided with a printed itinerary on arrival at Center Parcs on 14th June.
On Arrival
When you arrive at the Arrivals Lodge, please let staff know you're on the 'Dravet Syndrome UK' weekend and ask for a welcome pack. This is a printed pack that includes the itinerary, emergency contact details and more.
Emergencies
For added peace of mind please be aware we have our own medical team and ambulance who will be onsite from Friday 14th June, 11.30am to Monday 17th June at 11.30am, although we hope they remain unused and on standby for the duration of the weekend.
If you have a medical emergency and require the medical team's assistance during these times only, please call them on 07914 516 675. You can also call our Family Support Manager, Teresa Finch, on 07429 265 394.
More information, including local hospital details can be seen here.
Photography & Filming
Once again, we'll be capturing the magic of the weekend through photography and film. Please fill in our consent form here (even if you do not want to grant permission to share), so that we know your up-to-date preferences when we're taking/sharing images and footage.
Laser Combat Sibling Activity Health & Safety Form
Center Parcs require a completed health & safety form to be filled in for each child and adult participating in the Laser Combat activity on the morning of Saturday 15th. This needs to be done in advance of the activity. Please click here to complete the form.
Family Party (Sunday 16th June)
Due to fantastic feedback, our Family Party will again be split into two parties this year. We're saying a great big howdy to everyone, as our party theme this year is 'Toy Story'! Fancy dress isn't compulsory but is encouraged.
Woody's Party will take place from 10.30 - 13.00 and Buzz's Party will run from 13:45 - 16:15. You are free to join us for the full 2.5 hours of your sitting, or come and go as you please, whatever suits your family. The buffet for each sitting will be served around an hour in to each party. There will be a quiet space available should you wish to use it.
You can find out which party you'll be joining us for, here.
